National Park De Biesbosch

De Hollandse Biesbosch is part of National Park De Biesbosch. A nature reserve of rivers and creeks with willows, reeds and winding paths.

The Biesbosch is the largest freshwater tidal area in Europe. Due to the dynamics of tidal ebb and flow, every piece of landscape and every moment of the day is different.

The area is home to many different plants and animals, with icons such as the beaver, kingfisher, sea eagle and osprey. This is where both nature and humans recharge.
